Easter!

Rori was super excited this year when she found out that the Easter bunny would be visiting her house. The night before we made special bunny cookies decorated just like bunnies for Easter Sunday... Rori got to make a special one with blue sprinkles that she chose to set out for the bunny the night before. When she woke up she found a giant string maze from her bedroom leading up to her easter basket! And when we got to my parent's house she had some eggs that her Auntie T and Uncle Kevin had hid for her! The day was filled with family and great friends and even more fantastic food!!!

Easter Eggs!

This year was our very first time dying easter eggs and we had so much fun! Rori of course was a huge mess by the end of it as to be expected from a 3 1/2 year old! My cousin Josh joined us and Rori was very excited for this! Josh and I tried to be Martha Stewart with our egg dying and it didn't work out too well for us this time... maybe next year?

Zoo day with all the cousins

We went to the zoo recently with all the cousins! 6 kids all age 6 and under... what a crazy, eventful, fun day that made! Rori loves hanging out with her cousins especially since they are all so close in age! We look forward to a whole summer of going to the zoo on sunny days just like this one!

Peanut Butter Cookies with Rori :)

Rori loooves to bake cookies with me! She is getting so much better at baking with me minus the hot oven part. She dumps all the ingredients in after I measure them out and then gets her treat at the end which is licking the spatula! On this day they were THE best peanut butter cookies I have ever had!!! I love having these moments with her while she is young because I know she will remember them like I still do from when I was young.

After taco night we decided to go on a bike ride at Bradley Park! Rori looooves to ride her bike just like Danny and me! We decided to stop by and play at the park afterward since it was one of the only sunny days of the season so far.... we can't wait for summer this year!

Taco Night!

Our first blog... I LOVE to cook, bake and anything that goes with it. I am always coming up with some new recipe... so since I always loved to cook with my mom when I was little it was very important to me to teach Rori how to cook at a young age. Being only 3 1/2 she ends up being my helper most of the time and not actually cooking most of the time but still she loves it! This night we made tacos and homemade salsa! They were delicious and everyone wanted their picture taken of them eating one lol!
